visits for older adults in the greater Sacramento area. This service provides social interaction and a
connection to community resources.
Seven days a week, TLC’s volunteers place calls to hundreds of older adults who live alone, wish to remain independent in their own homes and appreciate a daily check on their well-being.
Ranging from two to four times each month, volunteers pay visits to older adults living
alone. Volunteers will assist with correspondence, enjoy a common interest, reminisce
and possibly provide transportation to appointments.
